Working with your TEAM

Dear LaMarr Area Consultant!!!

This is to make you aware, as a TEAM BUILDER, please visit the New Consultant Page and pretend you are a new consultant. The  All-Star Checklist will let you know how to communicate and follow up with your Team Members. We want to support you and believe this checklist will do just that.

These are the New Consultant Processes that will help you while growing your team.

1. Get the agreement (preferably on line, but the paper one is fine).

2. BRIEFLY, talk about her NEXT STEP. "You will be receiving a welcome email with a Getting Started Audio file from our Director. It will help answer a lot of questions and head you in the right direction. You will want to listen to it right away, and write down your questions. AFTER you have listened to that, complete the form on the welcome page, we will send you a training CD. There is a All-Star Checklist to print off that guides you through your first 30 Days. When will be good for you to go over it?” Get a date.

3. Tell her to expect a Welcome Call from her Director and give her a condensed version of how INCREDIBLE our AREA is in the Mary Kay world (Fastest to become a National Area...) Begin to give her a sense of Team Pride by connecting her to our All-Star Area. 

4. Tell her about her first Success Event/Training, time, date, location and dress. Suggest she bring 4-5 guests--family and friends to get their opinion of what she is doing and to see her get introduced for the first time. Let her know you are proud to have her on your team and that you'll partner with her to meet her goals through Mary Kay.

5. Follow up in 24-48 hours.  Did you listen to Getting Started Audio file or CD? If yes, proceed. If NO, set a date with her to call her back AFTER she listens to the CD. Great!  I’ll have Allison give you a call today to answer your questions.  Did you go to the NEW CONSULTANT page on our site and print the All-Star Checklist? If Yes, walk her through it to be sure she understands everything available to her.

6. Get her to Local Meeting/Training or let me know if she is does not have a local meeting.


A word about ON LINE agreements
My favorite! It is in, it is on, you have a Consultant number immediately, and then they can get on and complete the SMART START--get business cards, PCP enrollment, and order their web site - right away!

A word about Perfect 10 Tracking Sheets
If you do not currently use one, give it a try. We recognize and reward Consultants based on submitted tracking sheets. We give lots of AWESOME prizes and don’t want anyone to miss out on anything earned for sake of not turning in a tracking sheet. Help her see the importance from the beginning.
