I am a Director-In-Qualification. May I attend the Director Series? No, sorry! Until you officially become a Director, you are technically still a Consultant, which is great because there is a Consultant workshop series available to you. It is perfect for you to attend to get those concepts down before moving on to the Director series. I am a Director. May I attend your Consultant Series? Absolutely! We have many Directors attend the Consultant Series each semester, not only to learn the information themselves, but also to be able to pass it on to their Consultants. I am in Go-Give—may I attend your workshop? Of course! The workshops are open to anyone in Mary Kay. The more, the merrier! I am not in Texas—will you be conducting the workshops in my area? No, sorry! We have no plans to take Sharpen Your Edge on the road at this time. Will you be conducting the workshops in the Spring/Fall/December/Anytime in the future? We are planning to conduct the workshops each fall and spring, but Fall 2008 is the only one confirmed at this time. I live out of town—will anyone else be coming that is not local? Absolutely! In fact, a good portion of our attendees come from out of state. We have had people fly in from California, Kentucky, Florida, Wisconsin, even as far as Washington State! With Texas being centrally located, flights seem to be simple and the workshop times are setup so that flying in the morning of Day 1 and out the evening of Day 2 of each session is easy and encouraged. I have 16 children, 3 horses and a ferret with 3 legs—is the information applicable to me? You bet! The information I present is not tailored for any particular type of person. Not only will I be teaching exactly how I did things personally, I will be giving tips on things like time management and making the most out of the time you do have; things that are applicable to anyone in any situation. Will Sharpen Your Edge be recorded on video or CD? No, sorry. Everyone wanting to receive the information will need to attend the workshop in person. Are there any spaces left in the upcoming session? Maybe! Just check the appropriate registration page, and if the registration information is there, that means registration is still open. This is done to help keep the workshop registration price down. By waiting to book the workshop venue, we are able to sign a last-minute contract with a hotel that is looking to fill open space. This allows us to negotiate a lower rate with the hotel and keep the registration price as low as possible for all attendees. The registration deadline has passed and I just found out about it/freed up my schedule/decided to go—can I PLEASE sign up? If the registration pages still allow you to register, that means there is still space available. If the registration deadline has passed, there will likely be a late registration fee which will be shown on that page. You are more than welcome to use an audio recorder for your personal reference after you get back home; I just respectfully request that you not give copies away to others. I attended the workshop and thought a section of the workbook was perfect for a Director/Consultant friend of mine. Is it okay to give her a copy of that page? Sorry, but the information in the training materials is copyrighted and distributed for your use only. Anyone needing a copy of the information should attend in person to get the full effect and context of the materials. How do I find roommates/carpool buddies/lifelong SYE friends? There is an online message board available to attendees for exactly this purpose. If you are registered and have not received this information, please email my office at allison@allisonsallstars.com and we will get you that information. May I bring my laptop to the workshops? Yes you may! I would really like to attend the workshop, but I cannot find child care for some or all of the event—is it okay if my sweet calm child stays in the back and doesn’t make a peep? Sorry, but just like other professional Mary Kay events, we cannot make exceptions for any situation. It would not be fair to the other attendees in our professional business environment. May I bring my husband/significant other/cousin Martha? You are more than welcome to bring any adults that you wish, but every person attending will need to be registered as a separate attendee. I have a conflict with one of the Director Sessions; can I register for just one? Unfortunately we are not able to accept partial registrations. The Director series is not 2 independent sessions; the 2nd one is a continuation of the first and both need to be taken together. My question is not answered above—how do I find out the answer?
